All donations and profits from our store are greatly appreciated and used entirely to further spread the word to inform and educate others of the ugly and deadly litter released balloons become, including:

Educational presentations for school and community groups
Purchase & send bumper stickers and other material anywhere around the world at no cost - including Student Action Packs
Provide fact sheets and pamphlets
Purchase trees and plants to plant for groups/classes who "Make the Promise"
Gather/purchase materials to make and send our homemade ribbon dancers to good girls & boys
Burlap bags & strapping for reusable clean-up bags

Balloons Blow provides information to educate others of the destructive effects balloon releases have on the environment and strives to inspire and promote an eco-conscious lifestyle.

All released balloons, including those falsely marketed as “biodegradable latex,” return to Earth as ugly litter. They kill countless animals and cause dangerous power outages. Balloons are also a waste of Helium, a finite resource. Balloons can travel thousands of miles and pollute the most remote and pristine places.

Pictured is a collection of some of the balloons we’ve found over the years. Although the Mylar/foil balloons are more visible, there are many more latex balloons in this photo. Most of the balloons we find are latex.
