Have your class, school, town or group make the promise to never let balloons go!
Some are misled that there is such a thing as an “environmentally-friendly” balloon release. Even so-called “biodegradable” balloons are litter and harm wildlife. We must stop balloon releases before they happen. Please make sure your school, town, or group doesn’t unknowingly pollute the Earth! Print out a fact sheet.
To promote environmental respect and create more environmentally conscious individuals, have your teacher/principal/mayor/officials send us an email at Promise@BalloonsBlow.org to be added to the growing list:
Choose and print out your certificate here. Or make the promise online here.
When a class, school, town, company or group (of 10 or more) makes the promise, a plant or tree will be planted in their honor. Also, with your permission, we’ll share your environmentally-conscious decision on Facebook and Twitter.

Damia, in the Netherlands, often finds balloons while out enjoying nature. She taught her class how harmful they are to our animal friends and they were eager to “Make the Promise.”
