Balloon releases for lost loved ones: We support you —-, but please do not release balloons at the——. Many aren’t aware released balloons return to Earth as deadly litter, including those falsely-marketed as “biodegradable”. It is for that reason balloon releases are illegal in many places around the world. Please consider alternatives <3 A mass bubble blowing would be beautiful 🙂 Let’s honor loved ones while also respecting the living. - When someone says they are releasing “biodegradable” balloons: Please understand, those latex balloons that are falsely-marketed as “biodegradable” are actually more harmful because their burst remains mimic food to animals on land & sea. It only takes one balloon to kill. Please help educate others. There are so many beautiful alternatives. - Sky Lantern releases: Sky lanterns are not “biodegradable”. They all return to Earth as deadly litter. They have killed animals, burned people, cause the death of a little boy when one landed on his house, & have started huge wildfires & structures fires.
