While we’re both away our mom sat in for us today. Our parents collected the usual single-use plastic crap during a mile walk on an undeveloped beach. All washed ashore. Much of it bit up by fish, birds and sea turtles. Single-use plastic water bottles, single-use plastic straws, single-use plastic beverage containers, shoes, plastic detergent containers, styrofoam, plastic fish basket, plastic glow sticks, rope, fishing line. Some foriegn garbage from Dominican Republic, Haiti and Venezuela. 14 balloons: 7 latex, 7 mylar.
